New steam boilers for research center Flemish government
Location: Melle - East Flanders
The research center of the Flemish government asked us: an urgent replacement of two outdated steam boilers and the old controls was necessary. In addition, a makeover of the boiler house was requested, requiring the removal of old pipes, pouring new concrete, repainting the space and installing new insulation.
After consultation and analysis with the customer, the following proposal was developed: two UL-S-IE boilers, each with capacities of 2,000 kg of steam per hour. For higher energy efficiency, the boilers will be equipped with an economizer. In addition, a superordinate control system will be provided so that the two boilers can work together in cascade for optimal steam production.
