Revamping fireplace

A consumer products manufacturer in the province of Liège had a question regarding the modernization of their boiler room. The current installation, equipped with three steam boilers of 10 tons per hour each, provides a capacity of 20 tons per hour with two active boilers, while the third boiler acts as a backup. These boilers, in service since 2000, now require complete modernization and revamping to ensure reliability and efficiency. BBC was asked to prepare a modernization plan that would take the boiler room to the next level and make it ready for future production requirements.
Following a detailed study by BBC, a modernization plan was proposed to optimize the manufacturer’s firing site in Liège. This plan includes the installation of new, modern low NOx burners with electronic control to reduce emissions and increase efficiency. In addition, safety equipment will be completely updated to meet the latest standards and ensure reliability. New, PLC-controlled control boxes will also be installed, providing advanced and precise control of the entire system.
