Replacement steam boilers in bakery industry

A large manufacturer of various bakery products approached BBC with the request to modernize the existing boiler house, which contains two boilers. BBC was already taking care of the maintenance of these boilers and was now commissioned to carry out a renewal of the production lines, including installing new equipment and expanding production capacity. This modernization will not only improve the efficiency of the boiler house, but also allow the client to better respond to increased demand and future growth.
After extensive analysis and close consultation, the following proposal was made: the installation of two CSB 650×1 steam boilers with capacities of 500 kg of steam per hour each. This design provides guaranteed redundancy, ensuring continuity of steam supply even in the event of failure of one boiler. To further increase energy efficiency, a condenser is being installed that provides better utilization of waste heat by preheating the cold water. An adapted platform is also provided for the installation of the condenser and chimneys, contributing to a safe and efficient set-up.
